Sunnyside Hosts Free Dental Screening for Students
Sunnyside Elementary recently partnered with the Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE) and Children’s Choice Dental Care to offer a free dental screening for students. The event, held on campus, provided an opportunity for our little ones to receive a quick check-up and dental cleaning from licensed professionals at no cost to families.
“We’re excited to be able to provide this service for our students and their families,” said Amy Camacho our school LVN. “Partnerships like this allow us to bring important health resources directly to our community.”
During the screening, students were assessed by dental experts, and parents will receive a report detailing any dental issues found. If necessary, families can also schedule a follow-up appointment with their dental provider.
