Sunnyside Preschool, in collaboration with Save the Children, hosted a vibrant and educational cultural event to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The event welcomed families for a day of tradition, learning, and community bonding.

Parents had the opportunity to participate in a workshop focused on integrating literature into their children's daily lives. The session encouraged brainstorming creative ways to use storytelling to enhance their children's understanding of different cultures and traditions.

Meanwhile, preschoolers enjoyed a variety of activity centers, each designed to introduce them to unique aspects of the Chinese New Year. Children explored the significance of the red envelope tradition, crafted their own Chinese lanterns, and learned about the "Year of the Snake" with fun and engaging hands-on activities.

The event was a heartwarming success, bringing families together to celebrate culture, foster creativity, and deepen connections between home and school.
